Steel Engraving:- A steel engraving is produced by cutting (engraving) an image into a steel plate. This is a process which takes a great many hours and a high level of skill. When the plate has been completed Ink is applied to it. It is then wiped clean so that ink is left in the cut lines only. Finally the plate is pressed against paper to produce an image.
